Hi there! Whether a new parent, a wise parent, a grandparent, whatever kind of parent you are- I feel for you. Truly. It's a lot. More than I could have ever imagined. More love, more heartache, more laughter, more frustration, more wine, more exhaustion, more... all of it.

Believe me, I'm forever grateful that my family has taught me patience... kind of (meaning I'm kind of grateful and they've kind of taught it to me, it's actually more of an ongoing lesson).

And you just gotta laugh. That's what I aim to make you do. I want you to know you're not alone in this parenting job of yours.

Some specifics: I live with my husband, Matt, my 6-year-old sassy-pants daughter, Parker and my 4-year-old little man, Axl, in Golden, Colorado. We also have an appropriately named cat, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, who brings lots of bunnies and moles to us on a daily basis. We enjoy a low-key life with great neighbors and friends, drinking wine and swinging on homemade wooden swings hanging from trees in the backyard.
